What exactly is a “liberal arts education?”
Find out by joining us Wednesday, September 9, 2015, for #CampusChat. Jeff Rickey, Vice President and Dean, Admissions and Financial Aid of St. Lawrence University is our featured guest and will lead the discussion.
#CampusChat Topic: The Value of a Liberal Arts Education
Founded on April 3, 1856, St. Lawrence University is the oldest continuously co-educational institution of higher learning in New York State. A top-ranked liberal arts university, with an enrollment of more than 2,500 students, the focus at St. Lawrence is helping students realize their full potential as they prepare for life in a “complex and changing world.”
With 30 years of experience working in college admissions and financial aid, Dean Rickey says the aspect of his work that he enjoys the most is “is being a strategic resource and helping students and staff get from where they are to where they want to be.” How a liberal arts education adds value to that process is part our upcoming discussion on #CampusChat.
#CampusChat is an open dialogue. Participants are invited to join the conversation and are welcome to provide input, answers, and ask their own questions during any chat.
