Lori McGlone, CEO and co-founder of Tractus Insight, is committed to helping families navigate the college search with the power of technology. She is the host of #InsightChat and will be our guest on #CampusChat on July 8 at 9PM ET. The topic of the chat will be: Using Technology to Create a College List.
Lori describes her philosophy of life that led to her creating Tractus Insight:
I started my career in public education and always looked for ways to connect with parents during their child’s school journey. As a high school counselor, I welcomed the opportunity to bring teachers, parents, administrators, and students together to work toward solutions.
In my educational consulting practice, I was able to develop systems for families during the high-stakes, high-stress college search and application process. My dual role of expert guide and project manager led to families who actually enjoyed the process and students who ended up in colleges that were a strong fit academically, socially, and financially.
As a parent, I have developed a more profound respect for teachers and a deep level of sympathy for everyone who is trying to live a meaningful life-at home and work-while remaining properly caffeinated yet well-rested.
These dots have connected and formed a direct path to the startup world….
Tractus Insight embodies our solution for the things that matter most in life: connecting family, getting things right the first time, and eliminating any chaos that can otherwise take exciting life events and make them stressful.
This chat will be especially helpful for the parents of juniors and upcoming seniors as they begin to create and refine their college lists.
