SmartCollegeVisit Turns One

One year ago today, launched as a blog focused on providing information and resources related to college visit planning for college-bound teen and their families. In the course of one year, we published 307 articles, launched three new series and one Twitter chat, and extended our social network to close to 1,000 friends and followers.

In Year Two of SmartCollegeVisit, we will continue to publish quality content on topics related to choosing and visiting colleges and universities with insights into the college admission process, along with stories for and from students and parents traveling the road to college. 

We'll have a new look, new features, and new services for moms and dads who plan with their teens to tour colleges. Our new suite of services extends to colleges and universities, too. From mobile app development to featured promotions of smart places to visit while on campus, we're excited about what Year Two will bring! Testing of the new site is underway and since we can barely stand the waiting, we wanted to give our readers a sneak preview of the new look:
